Laundry Room & A Giveaway!!

I have just a few more projects I am working on for my laundry room but I wanted to show you guys where I'm at now!

So... After priming and painting my cabinets I let everything dry overnight and used my ScotchBlue Edge Lock tape on them.

ScotchBlue recently sent me some of this awesome tape to get my opinion on it.  Many of you asked if it would work on walls as well.

Here are a few examples of the straight lines I ended up with...

I actually was super impressed with it.  I always have problems with paint bleeding under the tape but not with this stuff!  I love it!

Here's a few more pictures...

So that's it so far guys!  As I mentioned... I do have a few more projects I am working on for the wall to tie in the red just a bit more.  I will also share my how-to's on what I have done so far later this week.

Who wants to try some of this fab painter's tape??

ScotchBlue is giving 8 more Shanty readers their own roll of

ScotchBlue Edge Lock!!

Whoop!!

All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post and you are entered.  Pretty simple!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I am off to feed the fam!

LOVE it! Great transformation. :)

Well done! I've had the same problem with some blue tapes--it seems this tape is better. I'm curious about what you (or other readers) store in the base of your washer and dryer. I opted not to get the stands for mine, and I'm happy. I just wonder what I may be missing...

Love the tape, but it's okay if I don't win any. I just wanted to tell you that I love all your attention to detail. The baskets on the open shelving look great and I love the bucket with the flowers in it. My fave thing though is the curtains on the door. Who doesn't love a little ticking fabric? I love it!
you did a wonderful job with this redo.

What fabric did you use for the body of your curtains? I love it. :o) Can't wait to see what comes next! (And if I win . . . blue tape that works would be such a handy thing!)

One of my New Year goals is to paint my living room this spring. Are you ready for this revelation? My dad and brother slapped a single coat of white on the walls in that room...twenty years ago. Yes. Twenty. I'm so ashamed, but I'm really, really a terrible painter. This tape will be on my shopping list even if I don't win! Thanks for the giveaway!
