Ballard Inspired Acorn Ornaments

Hi all!  Well, the Christmas decorating may be coming to an end soon but I have still been working on decorating my tree.  My latest project is inspired by a precious silver acorn ornament that I saw in a Ballard mag several weeks ago.  Unfortuantely I cannot find it online but here's my version!

I found these at on a Shanty Shopping Spree with Whit and thought of the Ballard beauties I had seen...

They were only $5.99 for a box of 24 at Michaels....SOLD!

Here's what they looked like after a few coats of Rust-Oleum Heirloom White!

I pushed the ends of a srand of 1ply Jute Twine through two acorns...

and secured them with a knot.

That's it!!!!  So easy!!!!

Hope you all enjoy this week with your families!  Merry Christmas!
~Ashley

Wonderful job. They love great! My whole backyard is filled with real acorns! I wish I could find something to do with them. There's far more than all my squirrels need!

I have a whole bunch of pinecone ornaments, but I've never seen acorns. Love them!
