Hello Shanty Sisters! Do you guys have any idea on shanty to chick mailbox ideas?
I just moved into a 1949 fixer upp and it has a great old wall mounted mailbox, but post office said since I am a new resident, I must put up a mailbox by the road. Heavy duty pretty ones are expensive and the cheap ones are just plain ugly. Any ideas on a cheap buget? I love the aged broze look because it blends in well-any paint, or spary you think I could attchieve a decent look at a resonable price?

Hi girls!
I just love you blog and visit often!
I came up with this great idea for a advent calender and thought of you guys as I was making it!

It is a double tall round jelwelery rack (you can find them at TK max, homegoods etc..
I sprayed it cream, and bought little white envelopes and embellished them with the #'s of the month of december and hung them with ribbon all around the top tier. Then I printed off the christmas story bible verses and hung those on the bottom tier, one for each day, so 25, to read. It is SO cute and SO easy!
I will post a picture soon on the blog!

Hi girls, just saw your 'I made it without my hubby' button over at The Nest, and had a good chuckle to myself. You see, I've just finished a rather large makeover on my timber kitchen, and not only did make it without my hubby, I made it without him even knowing about it! He was away for the week so I decided it was a perfect time to tackle a full whitewash!
Glad to have found your blog, and thanks for the laugh - maybe I need to design a new button with that slight adjustment??
Kerri x
