Love Me Some Fabric!!!

Hey guys! So I was able to get out today and pick out the fabric for my girls' new bedroom.  With the baby on the way we have decided that the girls will share a room so I am in the process of creating it.  The first step on my list was to pick a fabric for their headboards that I will be making.  I am a bit of a fabric junkie and drove straight to my very favorite fabric store...

Cabbage Rose in Fort Worth... LOVE it!!  They carry fabric from my very favorite fabric designer...

You need to click on her name to check out her amazing site and designs.  They are perfect!

Before home decor fun I was really into sewing.  I love making little girl's clothes and some of my very favorite were done in Amy Butler's fabrics.

My girls are not that into my "Sunday school clothes" anymore so I had to focus my sewing obsession on drapes and bedskirts... not near as fun right??!

The headboards are a bit of a secret but I will show you what fabric I purchased...

Yummy!  This is from her newest "Love" line and I can't wait to get these finished so I can share them with you in a few days.  You can also check out Amy's fabrics and purchase your own at Cabbage Rose online.  Lots of fun stuff there too!

I will be back in a few days with my headboards done to share with you guys.  In the meantime... have a great week!

  5. Great colors for a girls bedroom. My youngest, now 23, had a lavender bedroom with green accents, as a teen.
I love your girl's outfits too!
What can I make for my new grandbaby boy, now that I'm done with the nursery bedding and curtains?
